Wagon Bogie

I have been having trouble with derailment of my coaches and determined imperially that it is the fault of the bogie that would not ride well of the Narrow gauge typical track which to say the least is un-even.

So the outcome is as shown in the picture.

The sides were laser cut,

The centre started off a 12.5mm round bar which was tapped each end M4 to a depth of 14mm then 2mm taken off each side and a hole 4.5mm to clear M4 drilled through the centre.

The bogie stands on a post 8mm high.

I will be making up the connecting point from brass and in all probability bolting it to the centre piece so that it can be removed if necessary. I may even have it laser cut from 1mm steel.
