Automatic drain cocks for the
cylinders. No way of testing that they will work until the loco is in
steam !!!
They are in three parts the top threaded part is silver soldered to the body and the body closed off with a 1/8" rustless Ball Bearing inserted by the small bolt. After fabrication they were pickled in vinegar and then polished by a small wire brush. |
