Today the machining of the Eccentric Strap started. I tried to use the idea shown in the YouTube video mentioned earlier but I could not achieve parallel sides so resorted to using the 4 jaw chuck and a spacer of tool steel to bring the part in front of the jaws of the chuck.
I managed to machine two out of the four to finished size.
