It is amazing to think that just
5 days after the strip down started the boiler is now ready for its hydraulic
test under the new rules applying to home made boilers brought in I believe
in Jan 2006.
All day this day was spent preparing the workshop for the "home" hydraulic test. Tools were sorted out and all the other things that have not been used for a number of years ...shall we say 10 years found and readied for the test. This photo was taken just after a successful brief hydraulic test at home ... Let's hope that the one at the Maidstone model engineer Society also goes well
