Day 15 -- A few hours in the workshop

To initially raise steam you nee a forced draught so I purchased off ebay a centrifugal fan which run nicely on 12V and proceeded to make the MkI adaptor. After the initial test it will be known if it works successfully. |

Here the blower sit on the top of the Chimney. |

Also today I have made extensions to the safety valve stems as they did not project above the cab rood which they do now !!! Easier all round to adjust and it might not be necessary to take the roof of the cab off! |

The Smoke box door was refixed into position. |
|
This now leaves the water glass gauges
to fit and then test fire prior to the steam test next Wednesday.
